Kristin Briney is the Biology & Biological Engineering Librarian at Caltech and author of the book, “Data Management for Researchers.” She has a PhD in chemistry and a Master’s degree in library and information studies. Her research focuses on data handling in higher education, specifically in the areas of research data management, institutional data policy, and the intersection of library data handling and patron privacy.
