Sarah Hare is the Scholarly Communication Librarian at Indiana University Bloomington, where she liaises with IU Press and Library Technologies to advance open access. Before moving to Bloomington, she was an Information Literacy Librarian at Davidson College, where she led two Open Educational Resource (OER) incentive programs. Sarah’s research centers on several scholarly communication topics, including Open Educational Resources (OER), library publishing, and open access outreach to undergraduate students. Sarah has developed courses on OER for Library Juice Academy and Lyrasis Learning. Her work on OER includes an article in In the Library with the Leadpipe and book chapters with ACRL Press and Pacific University Press. She also serves as a Library Publishing Coalition (LPC) Board Member, collaboratively shaping the LPC.
